Grandma G's Herbal Tea was born from a personal health journey and inspired by the wisdom of family heritage. In 2010, I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes and struggled with recurring bouts of tonsillitis and chronic bronchitis. These health challenges became a turning point in my life and led me to search for a different approach to healing. During that journey, I discovered the alkaline vegan lifestyle and began learning how food and beverages could either support or undermine our health.

As I transformed my lifestyle, I quickly realized how difficult it was to find beverages that aligned with my values. Most options on the market contained caffeine, refined cane sugar, artificial ingredients, or additives I no longer wanted to consume. Determined to create something better, I eliminated caffeine and sugar from my diet and began brewing herbal tea every day in my own kitchen.
As I experimented with herbs and botanicals, I found myself thinking of my grandmother, affectionately known as Grandma G, who was a passionate tea enthusiast. Her love of tea, hospitality, and natural wellness inspired me to continue exploring the power of herbs. Through every batch, I felt connected to the traditions and knowledge she had passed down.
One evening, I brewed a small batch of herbal tea and filled ten mason jars for a local vending event. To my surprise, I sold out almost immediately. In that moment, I realized that many others were looking for healthier beverage alternatives just as I had been.
